Great transition shoe!
These shoes are truly zero drop. And the toe box is wide enough for me. I can comfortably wear my wool toe socks in them and my feet can breathe and are not squished. They do not look like most barefoot, wide toe box shoes. They are cute! Love the black and white. I replace the insoles with Northsole insoles (Legacy-6mm) and it truly make all the difference. These shoes are more comfortable than my Brooks. I stand on concrete floors all day in the pharmacy so I need a bit of cushion. After working a full 8.5 hour shift, my feet aren’t sore or tired. My legs don’t ache. And most importantly, due to the true zero drop, my lower back does not hurt one bit. My spine stays in alignment. And I noticed several times throughout the day that I didn’t feel the need to be constantly shifting my weight from one foot to the other. These deliver exactly what I need. The price point is phenomenal! I’ve already bought a pair for my parents. I will add more colors, too, because that burgundy pair is screaming my name!

My comfortable athletic shoe I’ve ever worn.
These are extremely comfortable! I have a Morton’s neuroma and these shoes are the perfect remedy. Lots of room for my toes without looking sloppy. Very light weight. I love the Whitin brand. I have 3 different styles (barefoot, high tops and these) and 5 different colors now. I walked all over Europe on 2 week vacation and that’s the only shoes I wore. I’ve worn all of them for months now and they wear very well. I’ve washed them in the machine and air dried with no issues. I wear an 8.5 wide and the 8.5 was perfect. They are designed wide. My feet are so happy!

We’re comfortable all day
I have flat feet and I’m a school teacher on my feet all day. This is not my first pair of whittins. I liked the style. The color is more royal than navy. I bought an 8 which is my usual. They may run just slightly small. Still fit, but not much extra room. I’ve been in them all day. The toe box is nice and wide. They do seem to have an arch support in them. With my flat feet, I’m feeling this. You may not if you actually have an arch. They are lightweight and I like the style.

GREAT WIDE FIT ZERO DROP SHOE WITH CUSHION!!
Y’all! I’ve tried so many barefoot shoe brands and am surprisingly very impressed with these!! I ordered the running ones (listed) and the canvas ones. The canvas is very flexible like most all of the barefoot, wide toe, zero drop shoes. These are not flexible when you point your toe but do flex well for pushing off the ground / toe flex up.I follow Anya’s Reviews and have tried Vivobarefoot (good for ppl with longer second toe, which I don’t have) Mukishoes (very flat, fun for frolicking in fields), Origo (super durable, nice quality), Flux, Xero, Lems, and Inov8. There are things I do like about all of them but my feet do get really tired after being on concrete all day. Which is frequent.I really like the Whitin running sneaker because it’s WIDE and zero drop but has some stack to the sole. Plus they are very cute! The design on the sole that looks like an arch in the shoe/foot is really nice and makes them look more like a normal shoe. Plus the price is way better than most other barefoot shoes. Yes, I understand why – but idc anymore. I care about my feet.10/10 recommend to my fellow wide shoe barefoot people who might be looking for more cushion!I’d also recommend to not size up a half size like most running shoes. I’m an 8.5 and they fit great! I was swimming in the 9.Also I have a “slope”/“Egyptian” foot shape and a medium-high volume arch.Wide fit, wide toe, wide toe box, barefoot sneaker, zero drop with cushion

Great shoe for the price
A great budget walking shoe for very wide feet that don’t need too much support but benefit from a bit of cushioning. I walk for hours in these, and I wanted something passable for going out and socializing in, and these go with a range of outfits.Pros:* Very secure fit.* a good looking shoe compared to barefoot shoes. Does not look clownish.* plenty wide for my pizza shaped feet* I’ve walked on concrete for hours with these and they feel great.Cons:* sole is a bit stiff compared to altras.* sole is not as grippy in wet conditions as a trail shoe: I wouldn’t wear these hiking.* good looking but not GREAT looking. These won’t break your look but they won’t elevate it either.UPDATE: I keep being blown away by this brand. How other shoe manufacturers haven’t managed to make good looking wide toe box shoes like these is beyond me. These are comfortable even when I’m on my feet for hours, that toe box is absolutely perfect. I’m just glad my shoe addiction is to a cheap brand. Whitin, I’m a threepeat customer.

“New” = obviously returned pair chucked in a bag
I bought a pair of these in the red color a while back and love them so much! They’re comfortable, fit well, and have held up so far. My work boots are wearing out and I wanted to replace them with lighter weight shoes, so I ordered these again in all black. I’m trying to remember how the first pair was packaged, but I’m almost positive they weren’t just tossed in a bag with other items like this pair was. They’re also definitely a pair that were returned and repackaged without really bothering – one shoe had laces that were sort of tied, the other was completely untied and has white marks and small flecks of dirt on the bottom. I bought these as new, not Used – Like New, so I’m not 100% thrilled with their condition or how they were shipped but I also don’t care THAT much as long as the shoes are otherwise in good shape.

Perfect for wide, fat feet!
Best pair of cross training shoes ever! I have semi flat, high instep, wide feet. I’ve tried Reebok Nanos, Nike Metcons, and Nobull. So comfy, and zero drop is perfect. True to size if you have wide feet.I still love Nobulls but these are great replacements. I’ve bought 3 pairs. Wish they had more options

very low cut, my toes cannot go in at all eventhough it is the right size. Only suitable for skinny feet
Claud –
I bought this pair of shoes because of the wider fit as I have wide feet, they are very comfortable and will probably buy them again. I am very happy with my purchase.
Canadian Consumer –
Mom needed a wider toe box runner. She wears these all the time. Good value for the price.
Amazon Customer –
Ordered wrong size again, the chart is kinda wonky. However this time the shoes fit another kid in my house and no need to return. The kid that fit the shoes says they are the most comfortable!

UPDATE: these shoes are horrible. My feet are in agony whenever I walk too fast or wear them for too long. They are no longer zero drop because the outsoles are so soft there’s almost no tread left in the forefoot in only 1½ months. Absolute trash.I’ll update review accordingly, but at first I thought I had got the wrong size, and almost ordered another pair while starting a return for these. Then I remember the company saying to remove the insole if the fit doesn’t feel right. Because it fit in length, but the width and height felt wrong. Had nothing to lose, removed the insoles. What a DIFFERENCE! My toes no longer feel like they’re being crushed, my feet don’t feel like they’re being strangled. I am coming to these shoes from VFF toe shoes, so I know I had to bring down my expectations for roominess a bit. Having said that, much better than a regular shoeI’ll have to walk some more without the insoles, to see if it’s still on comfortable as my literal barefoot shoes. Which took away my feet, knee, and hip pain. Hopefully these do the same while giving some protection from the rain and any stray needles.
