Low quality materials
The bad: cheap and lousy particle board can barely hold a screw. Yup need to be extra careful not to actually tighten screws or they’ll strip out. Included wall anchors are barely better than nothing at all. Drawer slides not part numbered, requiring a bit of thinking to ensure property assembly. (Minor gripe)The good: instructions very clear. Everything fits together nicely. Pretty easy assembly overall. Don’t need to be an engineer or carpenter to get it together.I get this is an inexpensive unit, and you can’t get solid wood for this price. I just wish the communists would offer a higher quality real wood unit. If the effort that went into manufacturing, shipping and installing THIS unit was redirected into better material – you’d have something to be proud of that’d last a lifetime. Instead – I expect this to fall apart in a couple years. What a waste.

Pretty decent
The closet system seems pretty good. It’s your typical pressed wood material. I do like that the pieces have a wood grain texture and the fronts of the drawers have a leather texture. Ihad to cut all three ling shelves to fit, the enamel edges did chip, I painted over it. Seems like it does take a good bit of time to assemble, it comes with a million screws, but didn’t need to use them all.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this unit because I wanted something with both drawers and shelves, and two tiers on one side for pants and shirts. This met the basic requirements, and the price was right, so I got it.The organizer itself is OK. Assembly wasn’t difficult, and the drawer stack itself seems fairly sturdy, even though it uses a typical cam system for assembly, and the boards are not particularly thick. Maybe 3/8 of an inch thick.I wish the whole thing were 6 inches taller. Then my shirts would not be dragging on the middle shelf or the floor. The reason for the so so review is because the mounting hardware which attaches the shelves plus drawer unit to the wall are weak and barely usable for drywall. If you use the provided hardware, don’t expect to put anything heavyweight on the shelves. The nylon drywall anchors provided with the kit are awful. They have no flange, so after putting them in the drywall, you can’t put any pressure on the screw or the anchors will pop right through and fall into the wall! Furthermore the shelves have embedded nuts at fixed locations intended for the metal angle brackets. Sounds good, except it means they will be at fixed points along your wall, and you won’t be able to screw the angle brackets into a stud, which would make them a lot more secure for a load bearing shelf.I ended up buying 1×4 slats, which I stud mounted on the back and side of the closet. This gives the shelves better support. I also bought proper anchors to make sure the whole thing stayed mounted against the wall. These modifications added a lot of time and another $30 of expense. Would’ve been great if the kit was designed to mount to the studs behind the drywall.
