UPDATED Nov 14-2024 : AMAZON – I really dislike your question answering system. Someone asked about the hanger size & I bumped something after loading the 2 pics and it disappeared before I could comment!IN HOPES THAT PERSON SEES THIS UPDATE: My hangers are 17 &1/2; 17 & 5/8 inches.The actual shelf width is just under 16 inches. I do not use the cover. It’s my closet – I’m not going thru all that monkey business everyday to “close” it. Looking at other’s pictures, I don’t “think” your 17-inch hangers will be a problem with the cover. Hopefully someone sent you a good answer.I’d still give this system 10 stars after 14 months of daily use! I’ve used the space on top for extra blankets and vacuum sealed bags of seasonal clothes. There’s a lot of weight on/in this closet. I’ve thought about getting another smaller set just for the shelves. I STILL highly recommend this closet.FIRST TIP: LOOK through the instructions to see the different ways you can assemble! By the time I was ready to set this up, I’d forgotten I was going to set the 3-drawer plastic ‘dresser’ in that spot! LOL – ok take a couple things off.It came very well packaged and CLEARLY marked. If I had the energy to take everything off and make a change – I would move the shelf on top the ‘dresser’ over to the other side and I would have set that shelf just above the 2 end ones. I could have used the extra inch on the bottom. As it was, at the time I was thinking of the fact that the plastic drawer top likes to settle down so I didn’t want to chance setting something on it so that’s why the shelf was placed there. Just take your time – take stock of what you plan to put in it and your golden!Either way, I’m delighted to have this. It definitely sets up very easily. I had a couple other storage shelves made in the same manner. I love that you can make adjustments to the shelf placement within the area you have installed it.I also chose to use the leveling feature of the screw in ‘feet’ to cause it to tilt back just a bit and therefore did NOT feel the need to “anchor” to the wall. If you have smaller kids, then I’d suggest anchoring as a precaution … It’s a versatile system and holds a lot of clothes!

Nice portable wardrobe
Reviews said 30 minutes to assemble. It took me about 2 hours, but I am a 71 year old woman. Got it together and am happy with it. I do think for $180, the cover would be fabric or at least better quality; which is the reason for the 4 stars. It had a plastic smell too which I hope goes away. Good size and rest is ok. All parts accounted for. Serves my purpose.

Hi! This closet is excellent! All its materials are so strong; I fixed all my clothes, purses, linens and that was a lot of weight on it, but still it stayed very firm. It has a lot of shelves and is space saver. They closet looks nice in the bedroom. I’m glad I bought it.

Sturdy and durable.
Really love it and its very sturdy and feels it can hold. The bars are metal and not plastic so it’ll hold some weight. Plenty of space to be creative on how to organize your clothes and shoes. I totally recommend this if your wife or girlfriend is taking all your closet space or drawer space and you have nowhere to put your clothes or shoes.
