As a former Tanning Salon Employee for 2 Tanning Salons (during my College years), I’d like to think I know a thing or two about Tanning Products. I had much practice with Versa Spa Products, as well as tanning beds, & as someone who prefers the safer option, I’ve gone through HUNDREDS of self tanning products to compare to the even spray tan you get with Versa Spa. This product is the only product I have found that not only leaves me with a summer glow, year-round, but doesn’t leave me streaky, orange nor with a funky smell. It actually has a pleasant smell! If you prefer not to use a Mitt, be sure to use lotion around your wrists & nail beds after applying. Make sure to exfoliate before applying. If you allow a day to dry & truly soak in, I recommend keeping your skin moist with a light layer of lotion. This product will make your tan last 5-7 days with lightly washing your skin & applying a second coat after your second or third shower of the week. Great product! It’s the only self tanner I will use now!

Favorite Self Tanner w/ Some Tips to Note
I absolutely love this self tanner it creates a really natural looking effortless even glow & also builds easily. I’d say as far as self tanning products (I’ve tried a lot over the years) this one is super beginner/user friendly. It’s nearly impossible to get an uneven or splotchy tan unless you just blatantly miss a whole spot & I rarely get dark patches on those spots you need to apply sparingly (elbows, knees, hands & feet) even when not being super careful about it.Now there are some things to note.. you’ve probably seen the social media ads saying you can put this on & 30 minutes later be out the door.. that statement is mostly true as long as your not going to be sweating a lot or are in a humid climate like south Florida lol. If I do that then do an activity outside it’ll rub off at any tight clothes or sock lines. If you’re in a similar case I’ve found it’s best to still apply this when you’ll be doing inside things or at night allowing it to fully develop & penetrate the skin THEN SHOWER before doing outside activities or working out. A quick rinse with a touch of soap is all you need & bonus points if you use a regular moisturizer afterwards. I’ve found this really helps lock it in & is the best way to keep your perfect glow. It also gets rid of the ever so slight fake tan smell which is very minimal with this product but still there. Lastly, transfer proof isn’t exactly true either. If you’re not sweating or do the above apply & shower method then it is correct you can immediately wear that white shirt. But (& this is how I also realized the above method was ideal lol) I applied this one late afternoon then the next morning without rinsing went on a 4 mile walk. It was early so it wasn’t even overly hot but of course it was humid & I ended up sweating. I was wearing a white tshirt, all seemed to be fine I got home & was just cooling down then like 30 minutes later went to get in the shower & realized my white shirt was completely sweat watermarked with brown tanning streaks really really bad lol. Thankfully my shirt came out of the wash perfectly white again so it won’t permanently stain but lesson learned regarding application.

Natural-Looking Glow That Lasts – Easy to Apply and Smells Nice
Love this self-tanner! I wanted to keep my summer tan going a little longer, and this has been the perfect solution. I use it about every four days, and it keeps my skin looking naturally sun-kissed without any orange tones. The application is very easy, and it soaks into the skin quickly without leaving streaks.One of the things I really appreciate is the smell—it’s not overpowering or “chemical” like many self-tanners. To me, it’s more of a light cinnamon scent, which is actually pleasant. I’ve also had very little staining on clothes or sheets, which is a huge plus.Overall, it’s reliable, easy to use, and gives me the natural, even tan I was hoping for. I’ll definitely keep this in my routine.

Had a allergic reaction

This is AMAZING self tanner! Just like any self tanning lotion, you need to apply it correctly and rub it in WELL. A trick I started doing is putting body lotion on my toes, ankles, elbows and my palms and between my fingers. This helped big time in reducing orange spots etc. The colour lasts and it’s a nice brown, not orange. I got LOTS of comments asking if I went away on vacation. It washes off very nicely in the shower as well. This is now my go to self tanning lotion. I’ve had the one bottle for over a month now and will order it again. It’s perfect for the transition between spring and summer.

I’ve tried a bunch of different self tanners and have held off reviewing until I had tried it for a while. This is an excellent self tanning product. Here are a few things I have noticed.1) Unlike others, this product goes on like regular moisturizer and there is no immediate coloration. You have to REALLY rub it in for a long time, as it leaves white streaks for a while, but as you keep rubbing eventually it goes away. Because it doesn’t show up immediately as dark, you can forget to wash your hands and end up with wicked tanned palms. How do I know this?2) I found the time estimate to be off a bit as per the packaging. I didn’t notice any color changes for the first few hours and it wasn’t until approximately 8 to 10 hours that the tan showed up.3) It is a VERY natural looking and excellent tan. There is no red or ochre coloration, no streaking, no dark splotches. I think that is because it applies so white and you rub it in for so long that it ends up just flowing into your skin very, very well. You don’t get the weird dark spots in your ears, for example, that can appear with other products.4) It is a fantastic moisturizer. The days I apply this tanner, my skin feels great all day.And…It does stain white pillowcases if you have a nap a few hours after application. So, tanning nappers… be forewarned.I bought this tanner because my favorite one was out of stock. And now this is my favorite tanner. A truly excellent product.
